The cottages at Angel Island Eco Resort are absolutely incredible! They have all the modern amenities you could need, like air conditioning, hot water, and free WiFi. The private open air bathrooms are amazing, and I loved the unique Pod style French Espresso coffee machine. The rooms also have a private balcony with sun loungers where you can relax and soak up the sun. It truly feels like your own private paradise!
I personally found the double showers in the semi-open bathroom a bit overwhelming. But hey, that's just my opinion and some people might love it!

I had been eagerly looking forward to visiting Komodo National Park, and that was the main reason I chose to stay at Angel Island Eco Resort. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the presence of cheeky Flores white eyes, endemic to the area, who often joined me for breakfast and could be seen feeding on the flowers surrounding the restaurant. I loved that the resort offered all-inclusive a la carte meals as standard and provided a mini bar with a selection of Chocolate, biscuits, and Bintang Beer.
The island was very wild and teemed with spiders, scorpions, and all types of insects. The room I stayed in was old and leaked whenever it rained, leading to a complete disaster for two full days.

We had an amazing time at a hidden paradise surrounded by stunning coral reefs. Snorkeling off the beach was a highlight, with daily sightings of cuttlefish, baby sharks, rays, and colorful fish. The spacious and clean rooms, complete with a coffee machine, were a delight. The restaurant served delicious meals with plenty of options. Despite a few hiccups, the staff was friendly and accommodating. It truly felt like a version of paradise.
Our pickup from Bajo harbor was rescheduled last minute, causing some inconvenience. The lack of management and staff training was evident in the poor English communication skills and slow service.

The cottages at Angel Island Eco Resort are like a hidden oasis in Labuan Bajo. They have all the modern comforts I needed, like air conditioning and free WiFi. The private open air bathrooms were a unique touch, making me feel connected to nature. The private balcony with sun loungers was perfect for relaxing and enjoying the beautiful views. it was a cozy and comfortable stay that made me feel right at home.
Personally, I found the double showers and basins in the semi-open bathroom a bit excessive. But hey, different strokes for different folks!
